U organizaciji Turističke zajednice grada Sinja i Grada Sinja, danas je održana 6. Smotra mačkara cetinskog kraja.
Mačkare su se okupile na Hipodromu, a nakon zajedničke – milenijske fotografije koju je snimio poznati fotograf Šime Strikoman, krenuo je defile do sinjske Pijace gdje je održan središnji program. Mačkarsku povorku predvodile su Sinjske mažoretkinje i Gradska glazba Sinj, gradonačelnica Sinja Kristina Križanac i direktorica sinjske Turističke zajednice Monika Vrgoč.
Tradicionalne pokladne običaje cetinskog kraja prikazale su mačkarske skupine iz Gale, Gljeva – Didi s Kamešnice, Bajagića, Vrpolja i Čačvine. Pored tradicijskih mačkara koje obrednim ritualima čuvaju dragocjenu tradiciju hrvatskoga naroda u povorci su sudjelovale i Krnjevalska udruga grada Sinja te mačkare iz Karakašice i Glavica.
Smotri mačkara cetinskoga kraja ove godine su se pridružili i Grobnički dondolaši – stara karnevalska skupina iz Grobinšćine, okolica Rijeke.
